It’s your senior year!  Congrats, you made it!  This is the perfect time in your life to have your portrait taken – it’s your chance to be yourself, be unique, and to celebrate this amazing accomplishment.

When working with seniors, I strive to capture your unique personality and interests.  I aim for an artistic and inspiring style, yet completely modern.  Each session is different, some feature an urban setting, while others are more simple and outdoorsy.  It’s completely up to you.  I often incorporate props, vintage elements, or unique settings – this adds that extra “something special” to your session.  You’re encouraged to bring a variety of clothing options for your session as all seniors have unlimited outfits and locations for their session.  Often, seniors arrive with suitcases of clothing and accessories.  I’m always happy to help style your session and give recommendations if needed.  Professional make-up is provided for the Senior Dream Session.

After your portrait session, an ordering appointment will be scheduled to take place at the Marketplace in downtown Grinnell within three weeks of your session.  A preview slideshow and gallery will be sent in advance for you to view.  During your ordering appointment, you’ll view sample products and I will help you make your portrait choices.  Orders must take place at the ordering session.  Your gallery can be reactivated for future ordering for $75.

This season, there are many popular items seniors are choosing from their session.  Gallery wraps and framed prints are a top pick, as well as the iPhone case and custom designed cards (think beyond announcements – calling cards, thank you notes, etc).  The senior album is also quite popular since you can display many of your images in a completely custom designed album with awesome cover choices!
